Erodatools Welcome a New Team Member

The last 3 years have seen tremendous growth for Erodatools, and as we’ve grown we’ve been able to invest in some great new machinery, technology and staff! Our small team has almost doubled, from just 6 people in 2012 to 10 in 2015. This means our staff can provide a better, faster service, and with every new recruit, we get new experience and skills that we can pass on to our clients.

That’s why we’re always on the lookout for talented new operators and apprentices, and our newest recruit is no exception!

Janine Schofield joined the ranks at Erodatools on the 20th January 2015, and is settling in really well. We weren’t actually advertising for any new staff, but when Janine called us to enquire about any opportunities, and we learnt about her experience in our industry, we were keen to meet her.

Although we only have Janine on a temporary basis for now, we’re glad to have her on board, and hopefully she’ll become a permanent member of staff here at Erodatools. Her primary new role will be as an EDM solid sink spark eroder operator, but she’ll also be operating the fast hole driller and is keen to learn wire erosion too.

Janine had previously been working for a company in Manchester as an apprentice mould tool maker, and then as an EDM operator until December 2014. With almost 4 years’ experience under her belt in engineering, EDM, CMM, CAD-CAM and FHD, she’s no longer an apprentice, but still classes herself as an ‘improver’. She’s enthusiastic about expanding her skills and building on her experience whilst working with our team – and who knows; maybe she’ll teach us a thing or two!?
